Thank you very much for your reply sir. The video is very clear. I could understand as the explanation is in a very simple way. Never thought that it is our own weight adding as a seismic mass. Always thought seismic force is a wave hitting the foundation and hence building collapsing due to that force. So the inertia due to ground movement is earth quake.
