Good afternoon Sir,
I have one query regarding inclined slab. I am attaching the photos herewith for reference.
Please refer to photo1, how can i design such a slab? how the beam should be provided?
Can I provide the beam as shown in photo2, where both the ends of beams are at different level and the beam is same as the slab profile(Straight initially and inclined afterwards) ?
Please refer to photo3 for beam grid in plan. The span between Column c22 and c23 is 6meters.
Kindly help.
I am a registered student and i did post in the community. But it says “this user is not allowed to post here”
Yes. Your structural scheme should be perfect. That should be modelled exactly and the detailing , you can refer SP34 for slopping beams. I can provide tips and help you here. Full info check will be a consulting.
And if you are a registered student, you should be posting in the course community and not here.
Ok sir. I can give you full information if it helps.
Is there any specific requirement for design and details of such beam?
The shape of the beam you have provided is fine. However you have to detail it properly after the design.
To be honest, these kind of things cannot be discussed on chats and forums. Also full information needed. Even if you provide full info, I will have to spend a lot of time to decide the scheme etc. All I can say is, the shape of the beam is fine provided you design and detail properly.
